Last day of the year

Time to take down the Christmas decorations and put things in order again. I got a message and a call from Carrie, saying that she wanted to surprise my sister and bring the family to Florida next year. It should be a great year!

twas the day before Christmas and me and my spouse just listened to music and laid around the house. It wasn't as boring as working and it wasn't tremendously fun, but what do you do the day before Christmas when all your shopping is done?

Thanksgiving

Well. here it is Thanksgiving already. The turkey is almost done and Janice is making potatoes, vegetables and other tasty sides. Mike hasn't called yet but is due any time now. Can't wait....getting very hungry!

It is October 29th and the weather is fantastic, cool and sunny; although a little breezy, it's like autumn came overnight. I have been frantically working to get my decorations ready and what I have done looks good. I'll be glad to have Michael come over tomorrow so we can finish and do a test run before Halloween.

well, it's almost here. one more day of work, then vacation and Halloween.  hurricane Sandy has passed us and is on it's way to the northeast. Temperatures are supposed to drop a lot tomorrow, maybe down into the 40's

The weather is turning cooler now and fall is in the air, but the days are still nice and warm. I lost an assistant last night and this week looks to be really rough at work. I have to go to WG for a fish training meeting so I'm taking a day of vacation. One more week after this and I'll be off for a whole week! Can't wait.

October the 8th and we are both off. It was warm and sunny almost all day but I barely got the yard mowed when it stated to sprinkle. We are going to steak n shake for dinner, haven't heard from Mike. It was a lazy kind of day, we plan on watching DWTS and maybe catching up on some recorded tv.

Wow, how fast time moves. We had a wonderful relaxing vacation.  After spending a day at the beach, they took me to Norwoods for dinner, Great Seafood. Back home, Harry and I replaced the bathroom toilet, then we played LCR til midnight.We all went to dinner at the Olive Garden and checked out the Spirit Halloween store.
Today is the first day of October. I've got a 7 ft witch and some wicked looking bats ordered from Grandin road, can't wait to get them. The weather is beautiful sunny and hot, just like last year. I am going to start getting ready for my vacation , again

Monday we swam, enjoyed the sun and visited. Carol and Jan went to get their nails done, while Harry and I hung out at the pool. Probably going to Steak n Shake for dinner.

I worked Sunday but it went quick, then we went to the Mexican restaurant for dinner, a couple margaritas and Harry and I were out.

another long week at work, although I did take half a day vacation it didn't seem the make the week any less tiresome.
got to go home early on friday night, and Mike worked for us on sat & sun close. Chris showed up on sunday to work lunch and we started the new promotion. Power went out at 10 am on sunday, but came back on at 10:30, just in time to open

July 2012

All the rainy days have departed , leaving very hot sunny weather. We are working on the 4th  this year so Jan, Mike, and I went to Colorados for baby back ribs on Monday. Tuesday, Janice is getting her crown from Dr Ryder and I'm working around the house. I'm trying to get the cds back in the cd player, but it's taking forever.

It's Monday and it's been raining for several days. Tropical depression Debra~ I worked today 6-2, training Erica to do the Monday paperwork, Carol and Harry are in Gulf Shores this week, looks clear there...so far.

June 16 th was a perfect day. A little warm, maybe 92, but clear and lightly breezy. after my errands, I went swimming, then put a couple chickens on the grill to roast. Jan had to work but when she got home she joined me in the pool until the clouds rolled in and the storm approached. the chicken turned out fantastic with fresh sweet corn and red ripe tomatoes. It was  a great day off. Makes it that much harder to go back to work!

Memorial Day

We are off today, playing with the computers,listening to music and doing nothing. We will grill out this afternoon, some nice barbeque pork steaks. Mick will probably come over for dinner but no more DWTS so we'll need a movie to watch. Might pick up True Blood 4 out on disc today.

May 22nd and the hot weather of summer is here. We are looking at 90's all week I took an extra day off this week. We had Mike over Monday to watch the Dancing with the Stars final and grilled some great steaks. Today I'm going to finish cleaning up the yard,look for a humidifier for Sammy and get some sealant for the back porch.

May is here and it is hot. We are supposed to get rain on our days off but so far,just sun. Michael and Brandon are going to see The Avengers ( in 3-D ) so we are going out to eat dinner with Rob at Olive Garden. We'll probably get breakfast at Perkins, then pick up Jan's ring at Kays. We need to stop by Suntrust also.We did get the floors done and the house looks pretty good.

Yesterday we had Dawn's daughter, Jackie and her little on over for hamburgers and hot dogs. Emma is a little doll and just had to get in the pool.

Chilly weather has come back! It's only going to get up to 73 today, feels like fall.Staying around the house today,cleaning the pool,mowing the yard,cleaning out the garage.

Carol came down for Jan's birthday and they had a great time. We all swam,barbequed and took her to Colorados for her birthday dinner.

APRIL is HERE

Good bye Winter, Hello Summer! It should reach 90 today Time for a barbque, some beer and the pool. Might have Mike and Brandon over, need to have Brandon look at the pc, the adware virus has messed up my desktop and hidden a lot of files.

We got up pretty early this morning ( for a day off ) It's going to be really warm and very sunny so I think I'll roast some chickens on the grill. Maybe Mike will come over if he's not out looking for new car. He's working in Deland now and needs a new car and a new jobbadly.

Last week it was warm enough to swim a little, but to windy to enjoy.
This week it has warned up again and the pool was really nice.
Moday the Dancing with the Stars program began. Mike came over to take his car to Phil's, then took mine back to his place so he could check on the cats. I had to go to Mike's apt to get my car, Michael LOCKED IT. We went to get his car from Phil and I guess he's going to try driving it back and forth to Deland. He doesn't have much choice!
Tuesday, moved the lawn and went to the Dr. to get some antibiotic for my sinus infection.I promised the Doctor I would come in for a full physical after Lent. ugh

March 2012

The weather is mild in the 70's but the pool is still warm from unusually hot weekend, so in the pool i go. It is fantastic, but pretty chilly when you get out !

Here it is the end of January already. It's been a very mild winter, so far.
February is right around the corner and so is Lent! I'm taking Jan and Mike out for dinner at Outback tonight, should be delicious !!

January 24th and so nice. It got up to 81 today, so after I cleaned and shocked the pool,
I GOT IN !
Tonight we are going to Steak n Shake with Mike and then later Janice and I are going to finish the latest Steven King novel.
