Christmas 2011

We had a wonderful Christmas. Michael and I closed last night so i didn't get up real early. Finished wrapping presents, drinking coffee and snacking on 7 layer cookies til about 11:30 when Michael arrived. He went to work making his own recipe for Bubble Bread, which took a while. We didn't eat til about 4 and were all pretty hungry.
We watched Super 8, the movie, then Rise of the Planet of the Apes, by then it was time to have a snack. Wrapped up a bunch of food for Mike, then went to bed.
We are going After-Christmas Shopping on monday, first time I've ever had off on the day after...

Thansgiving 2011

We had a wonderful holiday, even though we all worked Wednesday and have to back on
Friday. the weather was perfect, just a little cool. Warm enough that I got in the pool, Yea ! but it got breezy as the day diminished,so I didn't swim long. After we had dinner, we watched the last Harry Potter movie and then The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, part two. Happy Thanksgiving !

Monday, the 21st. I had jury duty but didn't get picked, Home by 2 o'clock and in the pool by 3. It has been warm so the pool was still great.

Halloween was fantastic, Julie and Michael helped a lot and we had a good turnout. Weather was perfect and the bubble fog machine and Lurching Vamire were both bit hits.

Well, it was a great Halloween and here it is almost the middle of November and i still haven't packed up the village. We did get to enjoy the pool on the second of nov.
then colder weather set in.
Thinking about going to the volusia county fair, have not been there in a while. It's supposed to be warmer this week

Halloween, and it's raining. Hopefully it will end by mid afternoon. At least we don't have snow as does the eastern seaboard !

I was on vacation all this week ,spent most of it getting ready for Haloween ! Everything is almost finished, the village is up, the lights are placed, the pumpkin is carved, the casket in poking out of a big hole in the cemetary. I tested the new bubble fogger last night, kids are going to love it. The lurching Vampire works great too, but I thing it's going to really scare the smaller ones. we'll see.
Julie arrived last night, so,with Mike, we should have enough hands.I hope we have a big crowd.
